All Lanes Now Open at US 19 Intersection at Grover Cleveland; Portion of Homosassa Trail Closed

Category: Press Releases       Posted By: Denise Gallagher       Year: 2017

Underground repairs were completed Thursday afternoon, March 9, at the US 19 and W. Grover Cleveland Boulevard intersection, allowing all lanes to be reopened on the east side of US 19.

Friday morning, March 10, underground work began at the US 19 and W. Homosassa Trail intersection. To perform the work, the east side of Homosassa Trail has been closed and traffic is reduced to one lane on westbound Homosassa Trail approaching US 19 (the westbound left turn lane was expected to be opened before noon on March 10).

The contractor plans to reopen the lanes this evening; if the underground work is not complete at that time, the east side of the intersection may close again Monday morning, March 13.
