Hurricane Irma Debris Removal Completed in Citrus County

Hurricane Season is over and we can now officially declare that all storm debris from both public and private roads has been collected and disposed of from Hurricane Irma.

Citrus County FEMA contractor and Citrus County Road Maintenance Department crews collected and disposed of 180,340 cubic yards of storm generated vegetative debris from public and private roads as a result of Hurricane Irma.

Special thanks to the Citrus County Public Works Road Maintenance Division and the FEMA Contractor who did a remarkable job cleaning up Citrus County.
