Dancing Queens to Perform at West Citrus Community Center

The Dancing Queens are returning to perform at West Citrus Community Center.  The center is located on 8940 W. Veterans Drive, Homosassa, FL  34446.  The Dancing Queens are a group of women that dance and perform to great music.  Their performances have been enjoyed in the past and we are excited to host this group again. Upcoming performance dates are March 2, 2020 & April 6, 2020.  Shows are at 12:00 p.m. For more information about the upcoming performances or to reserve a FREE lunch for that day (must be 60 years or older for the FREE lunch) please call. FREE Chair Exercise Classes at West Citrus Community Center

Chair exercise classes are in full gear at the West Citrus Community Center.  Classes are available four days a week, (Tuesday through Friday) 10:30 a.m. – 11:15 pm.   Instructor on Tuesday and Thursday is Maxi Jo and Wednesday and Friday is Hazel.  Both instructors, though they have different styles of teaching, do a wonderful job of leading the class. Attendees enjoy the classes and achieve the results they want.  West Citrus Community Center is located on 8940 W. Transportation Disadvantaged Local Coordinating Board to Meet

The Citrus County Transportation Disadvantaged Local Coordinating Board (LCB) of the Hernando/Citrus Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will hold a public meeting on Thursday, February 20, 2020, beginning at 10:30 a.m., at the Citrus Transit Center, 1300 South Lecanto Highway, Lecanto, Florida.

Items on the agenda include, but are not limited to:

•             2020 Annual Election of Officers and Appointments

•             Citrus Transit Quarterly Report

•             Updates: Veteran Transport, Extended Transit Hours

•             Social Security Transport Discussion

•             FY 2021 – FY 2030 Citrus County Transit Development Plan (TDP) Update

•             Bylaw review

•             Key Center Update

•             Transportation Disadvantaged Program Review
