Six members of the council are persons who are involved in the tourist industry and who have demonstrated an interest in tourist development. Of those six, not less than three or more than four are owners or operators of tourist accommodations in the county and subject to the Tourist Development Tax. One member is a representative from the Board of County Commissioners. Two members are elected municipal officials.

The TDC meets at 3600 W. Sovereign Path, Lecanto, FL in room 166 at 9:00 A.M. Meetings take place every 2nd Wednesday of the month. The first meeting of each year is in January. Please contact the Visitors & Convention Bureau at (352) 794-5506 with any questions.
