Which boat ramps require a launch fee?

Is this a parking fee or a launch fee?
This is a launch fee for residents and non-residents launching a watercraft. There is no fee for parking at this time.

What will the launch fees be used for?
The fees collected will maintain and improve Citrus County boat ramps. 


Who is Premium Parking Service, LLC?
Premium Parking Service, LLC, is a company that has been contracted to handle the collection and enforcement of the launch fees. 

Where is Premium Parking Service, LLC located?
Premium Parking, LLC is located in New Orleans, however, Citrus County works directly with a representative from Tampa, FL.  

How do I pay the launch fee?
Customers can pay via the Premium Parking app, using the QR code (located at the ramps), or by calling (844) 236-2011 and pressing "0".  Customers can choose to pay the daily launch fee or register for the resident or non-resident annual passes/subscriptions directly through the Premium Parking website.

How much does it cost to launch?
There is a $10.00 daily fee for launching a watercraft (defined as any and all kinds of flotation vessels designated for use on the water whether or not motorized,  including, but not limited to, boats, canoes, kayaks, jet skis, skidoos, pedal craft, pontoon boats, rafts, inflatable craft, tubes, paddleboards, or wind propelled surfboards.)

How much does an annual pass cost?
Annual passes/subscriptions are available to Citrus County residents for $25 (with proof of residency). The fee is $75 for non-residents who are launching a watercraft. Residency verification is required for the annual pass/subscription within 3 days of purchase.

How can I verify my residency?
Customers will be required to provide a copy of their State of Florida ID/Driver’s License or utility bill with a Citrus County address to verify residency. Residency must be verified within three days. Email verification information to cdillard@premiumparking.com

Do I need a separate annual pass for each of the four boat launches?
Only one annual pass/subscription per trailer tag is required to access any of these four County launches.  

How many trailer tags does my annual pass/subscription cover?
A non-commercial pass/subscription allows for registration of up to three trailer tags per annual pass/subscription per household. Please register using your trailer tag when applying for an annual pass. Registering a vehicle tag instead of a trailer tag may result in a citation from Premium Parking, LLC.

What if I work for a marina/boat commercially?
Marinas may purchase a commercial pass/subscription, which allows for registration of up to three dealer trailer tags per annual pass/subscription per business. 

What if I do not have a computer/smartphone?
You can register by phone at  (844) 236-2011, dial "0". Parks & Recreation staff are also available to help Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, at their main office, located at 2

Why choose a web-based platform over kiosks/pay stations?
Cost-effectiveness. County staff researched the option of installing kiosks or pay stations, which would have involved the cost of the machines, maintenance and replacement, along with additional County staffing to monitor and enforce.

What percentage of the launch fees does Citrus County receive?
Citrus County receives 80% of all launch fees.  The revenues are maintained in a special account for future maintenance and improvements to all County launches.

Will more information be available before scallop season?
County staff has installed additional signage at all four launches to better inform users of the launch fee.  Additional signage and informational postcards to follow to prepare for the quickly approaching scallop season.  County staff will be available at the four launches to assist during scallop season.

What can I do if I received a violation in error?
Please reach out directly to Premium Parking, LLC for all citation-related requests at (844) 236-2011 and dial "0," or log on to www.premiumparking.com to file an appeal.
