Egg-streme Glow Hunt

In 2021, our egg hunt will be hosted prior to our Movie in the Park showing of "Hop" on Friday, March 26th at Lecanto Community Park beginning at approximately 6:30 pm.

Citrus County Parks and Recreation presents the Annual Egg-streme Glow Hunt. This event is a glow-in-the-dark Easter Egg Hunt and Festival on the Thursday evening prior to Good Friday each year.  The event is complete with games and food trucks and eggs are filled with candy for kids ages 1 to 13 to find in the fields at Bicentennial Park. The festival typically opens at 6 pm with a $5.00 entrance fee, and kids are sent out in waves to hunt for eggs according to their age group.
