Historical resources Advisory Board Seeking Applications for Vacancies

The Citrus County Board of County Commissioners is seeking applications for three (3) vacancies on the Historical Resources Advisory Board (HRAB). The Board is seeking three (3) regular position members and for terms beginning February 1, 2021 and ending on January 31, 2023. To the extent available in the community, the Board appoints professional members from the disciplines of architecture, history, architecture history, planning, prehistoric and history archaeology, folklore, cultural anthropology, curation, conservation, landscape architecture or related disciplines.

The Historical Resources Advisory Board maintains its commitment to its partnerships among federal, state, local government, and the citizens of Citrus County to identify, evaluate and protect historic properties.

Applications should be received by December 7, 2020 and those applications, which meet the eligibility requirements, will be forwarded to the Board of County Commissioners for evaluation, nomination and selection. Applications can be found at:
