Alexander Real Estate Makes Donation to Citrus County Animal Services

In July, local business Alexander Real Estate announced that they would sponsor a number of
adoption fees for animals housed at Citrus County Animal Services (CCAS). Owner Joe Alexander
presented the check to Citrus County Foundation for Animal Protection (CCFAP) volunteers at a
recent adoption event held at Rural King in Crystal River.

CCFAP has an established “Sponsor Me Home” program, which includes a fund where community members
can pre-pay adoption fees for pets at CCAS. Alexander Real Estate’s donation will pay to sponsor
the fees of 21 pets. The donation was made in recognition of Alexander Real Estate being voted Best
of the Best in the real estate category for the Citrus County Chronicle’s 2021 Reader’s Choice
award.
