Housing Division Announces Water Bill Assistance Program

Citrus County Housing Services is now offering the Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program

Florida with an emphasis on prevention of disconnection and restoration of water services to
households whose water services were previously disconnected.

Eligibility for participation in LIHWAP is established according to the federal income guidelines
and must be at or below 100% of poverty level for household size of 1 to 8, and 150% of poverty
level for household size of 9 to 20.

Maximum annual income:
Household of 1 - $26,036             Household of 5 - $58,082
