Free Irrigation & Turf Management 101 Training

Citrus County Utilities is offering a free Irrigation & Turf Management 101 class on Thursday, February 9, 2023, from 12:00-3:00pm. The workshop will be held in the classroom and broadcast online for those wishing to join remotely.
The training offers the basics of operating an irrigation system in Florida. Learn how to work the irrigation controller and how long to run each zone. Find out how much water to apply during summer months vs. winter. Discover simple maintenance tips to keep the system in check. Hear about our local soils and plant water needs. Explore the benefits of Water Sense labeled irrigation controllers.
