Applications Now Being Accepted to Assist Citrus County Residents with Eviction Prevention

Citrus County Housing Services has implemented an Eviction Prevention Program to assist very low- income and low-income residents impacted by the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). Priority shall be on a first-qualified, first served basis and is limited to a one time award. Payments will be made directly to the landlord and a valid lease must be in place. Funding for this program is available through the State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) Program.

A household must meet the following criteria to qualify:
•             Must be a Citrus County resident
•             Household income must be less than 80% of the average median income (see below).

2 Person $35,800
3 Person $40,250
4 Person $44,700
5 Person $48,300
6 Person $51,900
7 Person $55,540
8 Person $59,050
