Libraries to Reopen at Limited Capacity on May 19, 2020

 Beginning on Tuesday, May 19th, all five branches of the Citrus County Library System will open to the public for access to primary services including browsing and reading, computer and WiFi use, and check-out of materials. All buildings will be under temporary guidelines for the health and safety of patrons and staff. This includes limiting occupancy to half-capacity, practicing proper social distancing by remaining six feet apart, and wearing a mask or face-covering.

Libraries will be operating under temporary hours during this period; all branches will be open Monday through Wednesday from 10:00am until 6:00pm and Thursday and Friday from 10:00am until 5:00pm. The Central Ridge, Homosassa, and Lakes Region branches will be open on Saturday from 10:00am until 2:00pm. Coastal Region and Floral City branches will remain closed on Saturdays. All in-person classes, programs, meetings and events remain postponed/cancelled at this time.

The current curbside pickup service will end on Monday, May 18th. Beginning on Tuesday, May 19th all branches will be offering a limited curbside service to accommodate special needs and at-risk populations only. This service will be limited and available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00am until 12:00pm. Calling ahead to schedule a pick-up and calling upon arrival at the branch parking lot, will be required.
