Bicentennial Pool Now Offering Family, Senior and Lap Swim

Bicentennial Pool Now Offering Family, Senior and Lap Swim Bicentennial Park Pool located at 8145 W. Bicentennial Park Drive Crystal River, Fl. 34429 will offer lap swimming, senior swim and family swim by appointment only (45 minutes increments) starting Saturday, May 23, 2020. Hours for lap swimming, and senior swim will be Monday through Friday 9:30am-11:15am, and Saturday 10:30am-2:15pm. Family swim will be offered Monday through Friday 12:30pm through 5:15pm, Saturday 2:30pm through 5:15pm and Sunday 12:45pm through 4:15pm. No more than five (5) per household will be permitted. Appointments will be accepted no more than 48 hours in advance.

No food or drinks, or water bottles will be allowed. The County will not provide pool equipment i.e. kick boards, hand weights and noodles. One Family Restroom will be available. Please arrive in your swimming attire, as changing rooms will NOT be open at this time. Other pool programs and activities continue to be temporarily on hold. All pool staff will be following CDC guidelines and direction from the Citrus County Health Department.

Federal and state social distancing/gathering guidelines remain in place. Staying physically active is one of the best ways to keep your mind and body healthy; however, we must do it safely. Outdoor pool exercise is a way to relieve stress, get some fresh air and vitamin D, stay active, and safely connect with others. The CDC encourages reducing the spread of respiratory illnesses by practicing everyday preventative actions, including:

• Stay at least 6 feet away from others (“social distancing”)
• If you are sick or were recently exposed to COVID-19 STAY HOME
