Citrus Eagles #3992 Makes Donation to Citrus County Meals on Wheels Program

In May, Citrus County Senior Programs received a generous donation from Inverness’ Fraternal Order
of Eagles, Citrus Aerie #3992, to go towards the Meals on Wheels program. Meals on
Wheels volunteer Cyndy Joachim, who presented the donation on behalf of the Eagles,
also serves as the chapter’s Aerie President; she currently delivers meals from the Hernando Area
Senior Program, located in the Historic Hernando School on Highway 41.

This donation will go a long way toward providing meals for Citrus County’s seniors in need. Meals
on Wheels is grateful for this generous donation and to Cyndy for her continued dedication to
delivering meals to seniors. With help from the community, Meals on Wheels has been able to provide
meals to nearly four times the number of seniors than their normal grant provides for.
