Fort Island Gulf Beach Continues to Test Safe

Fort Island Gulf Beach waters continue to test safe for recreational activities. Weekly water quality samples were taken Monday, May 11, by the Florida Department of Environmental Health to monitor any changes that would impact the health and safety of beachgoers.

Beach hours are sunrise to sunset seven days a week. Restrooms at the beaches are open. Federal and state social distancing/gathering guidelines remain in place. Groups of more than 10 will not be permitted, and social distancing of six feet is necessary to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
